    The Red Flag Section

    In order to enhance its usefulness to clinicians and researchers, Qpass includes a Red Flag Section (RFS) that assesses 22 additional psychiatric symptoms often associated with NA, such as:

    • Avoidant behavior associated with phobias (items 92-95)
    • Alcohol and substance abuse (items 89-91)
    • Hypersomnia (i.e., oversleeping; item 84)
    • Spending and gambling (item 97)
    • Behaviors associated with manic episodes (items 86-88)
    • Behaviors associated with eating disorders (items 85, 96)
    • Sexual compulsion (item 98)
    • Trichotillomania (i.e., pulling out one’s hair; item 99)
    • Urges to commit violence (items 102-103)
    • Suicidal ideation and planning (items 101, 104)
