Qpass consists primarily of three Negaffect (NA) Scales that comprehensively assess the primary, stress-related emotional dimensions of psychopathology. These scales, which collect self-reported symptoms of over a 1-week period, are as follows:

• Depression-Scan (D-Scan, 26 items)
• Anxiety-Scan (A-Scan, 29 items)
• Anger-Scan (G-Scan, 28 items)

In addition, Qpass also has:

• Five Clinical Scales measuring Phobic Avoidance, Psychoticism, Obsessive-compulsivity, Suicide Risk, and Violence Risk.
• A Global Psychopathology Index (GPI), measuring overall psychological distress.
• Fourteen Negaffect (NA) Subscales measuring sub-constructs of depression, anxiety, and anger such as “Anger-In” and “Anger Out.”
• A separate Red Flag Section (RFS) that collects data on 22 additional psychiatric symptoms.

In sum, Qpass measures a total of 23 constructs of interest to clinicians and researchers in about 10 minutes!
